Philippians 2:1-4
When I first read these verses, it really hit me and since then I put them to practice. And now it's alive. It holds true in my heart. I thank God for His promises and for standing by them as well. He really makes me think how human I am. And that's what makes me love Him even more
So after spending some quality time in my room and reading some more Twilight, I was able to reflect and ponder the very same verses.
...encouragement from being united with Christ...
...comfort from His love...
...comfort from His love...
...fellowship with the Spirit...
...tenderness and compassion...
...being like-minded...
...having the same love...
...being one in spirit and purpose...
...Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit...
...but in humility consider others better than yourselves...
...Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others.
After breaking it down, it became so clear. This is REAL LIFE.
the key to applying this is love because without the heart to do so, it's not complete.
I take so much pride in certain things that I do and I have goals to fulfill.
But in truth, that's not what it's all about.
being able to humble myself and looking out for others is what matters more.
And it's because of God's love and compassion for me
I'll pass it on to others.
