25 Days of Gratitude

#9
It's been so long since I last saw you two. I will always always think back to the time when you, Mr. Grobbelaar, shared your story on how you met your wife. I was in the 8th/9th grade (circa 2005-2006), and it was a Sunday school. Your story has truly inspired me that I even vowed to really wait for the right person. I didn't want to go from one boy to another to find my future husband. So I've prayed to God since then that whoever was my first, he would be my last, the one I will marry one day. It wasn't easy keeping such a promise all throughout high school and into college. But up until now, I am turning 21 years old and I've never had a boyfriend since birth, proud to say. I believe in God's faithfulness and His blessings to come.

I want to take this time to thank you for your wonderful story. It has touched my life in the early years of my walk with God. I thank God for putting you, Mr. & Mrs. Grobbelaar into my life, showing me that there is hope despite being in a world where there is divorce and separation. Most importantly, an element of faith and God's divine appointment and timing was part of your story that will stay with me.

May God shower you and your family with many blessings this Christmas and into the new year! Also may you continue to be a blessing to others!
