I have learned so much from you during my 3 years in choir. It wasn't only the notes and the proper breathing but it was also the discipline, dedication and commitment that came along with it. And it didn't remain in show choir, it went into different areas of my life and whatever was important to me, I applied what I learned.
I want to thank you for doing what you do. Although there were times of utter stress, it was worth it in order to put on a good show. I miss show choir so much and from time to time, I would watch some of the concert DVDs especially around this time of Christmas.
You were one of the people who have inspired me to pursue music after high school. Sad to say, I am no longer a performance music major. You can say I'm putting that on hold for awhile but I'm not giving up on music altogether. I still sing! I might come back to it once I become a nurse and work a few years, only God knows what my gift will be for. Even though it won't be a career for me, it's still something I turn to in tough times.
Again, I thank you for everything that you have taught me. I've learned more than I ever would in voice lessons! And I hope this year's Winter Concert was a success!
