More about my Hong Kong Weekend

There’s a lot to share about my adventure in Hong Kong! Although it was only 3 days, there are SO many pictures and a lot to talk about!
Solution? I’m just gonna have to tell pieces of it. I mean, who’s actually interested in knowing every little thing I’ve done? You probably just want to see the pictures anyway. Only my favorite ones go here on blogspot… and everything else, the whole enchilada are on facebook right now.

DAY 1. Central Pier. Doesn’t this make you think of “Skyscraper” by Demi Lovato?

DAY 2. Part of the Half Day Tour… we stopped at a popular Jewelry store in Hong Kong. I guess it’s popular because Jackie Chan, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson once visited the place. This is a photo of the inside of a geode and guess which birthstone it is:] it’s AMETHYST! My birthstone and one of the reasons why purple is my favorite color.
This is the Jumbo Floating Restaurant. It’s a restaurant… floating on water… pretty self-explanatory. So sad that we didn’t get to have lunch there… it’s one of the top recommended places to have Dim Sum! Sigh. I shall come back to have dim sum there for lunch one day. And oh, it will happen.
Our tour bus looks like an RV!
Still DAY 2. After the Half Day Tour, we wanted to go back to the Avenue of Stars because my mother and I completely missed it on our first stop. It may not appear to be sunny here but BOY, WAS IT HOT! And don’t you just love the background in this photo? It looks like a painting on a wall! But that’s completely, 100% real.
Avenue of Stars. Statue of BRUCE LEE! As you can see here, the sun decided to show up. I was sweating in the picture! And notice how there are 5 other people in the picture… yeah, they’re my homies. Just kidding. We all just decided to take a picture together. Just Kidding again.
End of Day 2 (before my camera died -_-) mother and I took a cable car to the village of Ngong Ping! That’s where this GIANT Buddha lives. It’s literally this giant statue of Buddha sitting on top of a hill. And this was no ordinary hill… people had to walk up hundreds of steps to get to the top. Just think of that scene in Kung Fu Panda 1 or 2 where the panda had to walk up all these stairs… yeah, it was pretty much like that.
What was funny about the cable cars was that my mom was kinda sorta afraid while we were riding it. As for me, I loved every moment of it (except for when my camera died). I liked it more than going back at night… my mom liked it at night just so she couldn’t see anything. Lol! I love you, mom.
