"Something to Change Me"

happy sunday.
God is GOOD.
ALL the time.

I'm starting to write in my little devotional book/book of verses/journal (haha I don't know what to call it because I write notes, favorite verses, quotes, and sometimes my thoughts that I wouldn't share on this blog), I haven't really written in it in a long time and that says something. It means I haven't given enough time for God throughout the studying and homework and even the procrastinating. Nothing personal was written in my book... during worship, I wrote down the songs that were sung today. Almost all of them were completely new to me because my song library is SO outdated. Currently listening to Casting Crown's "All Because of Jesus"

My life is MEANINGLESS without Him. I'm ever so grateful for having the hope I have today to live. There's still something to be thankful for despite the struggles I go through. I'm learning to look at things in a new, positive way even though the people around me don't see it that way. someone has to. I keep in mind that there's still a God who loves me and helps me see things through... He helps me back up on my feet when I fall. and believe me, i fall every day. I make a lot of the same mistakes.

And then there's His grace. The blood that washed away my sin.
He rescued me. thank You, LORD.
for renewing me.
for loving me unconditionally.
for giving me strength every day.
