VOTED in the state government election !
I was pretty excited that my internal body alarm clock woke me up before 7. I had to wake my mom (because we said we would start walking at 7 or so) and I got dressed within minutes and then of course I had to wait for my mommy. I brought my sample ballot (filled it out the night before) my ipod and purse and walked on over to the church that opened up polls.
finally when we got home... my mother nor I brought our house keys with us so we were locked out for about 10 minutes, waiting for my dad to come home and let us in.
I finally exercised my right to vote!
for those of you who are 18 and have not registered,
GO REGISTER YOURSELF SO YOU CAN VOTE!
polls close at 8pm!
