2 weeks ago, I wasn't able to make a gift for a very special girl named Pamela. Heck, I didn't even have the time to go out and purchase a gift! It was either that or I didn't have enough money. I felt bad that I knew I had to work on getting her something and making something before seeing her again which was in 2 Fridays. That gave me plenty of time to brainstorm and have my creative juices flowing. And now that I'm on semester break, I got right to it!
Again, I used post-it notes, sketch pad paper, double-sided tape (another love of mine... seriously one of the best tools to have when making something)... what I did differently with this one was that I used cute tape (lots of it, let me tell you) and letters cut out from a magazine. I wanted to make it cute for the girl who turned 10!
The stuff around the writing? yeah, that's the cute tape.
here is the finished product!
I made the envelope and added yet another post-it note for her name.
I got her a jar of nutella along with a cute lollipop pen & hair clips
the nutella was from the nearby supermarket, of course.
I really love giving and seeing the person's reaction
brings me great joy
I can't wait for Christmas, now!
Gonna brainstorm and probably start making something
since I have plenty of time right now
(although I say this, I'm probably not going to get everything done)
knowing how much I say I have lots of time
I don't maximize the time I have.
But we shall see!
