RAY-SHELL

It is one thing to call me "ray-ch", which, by the way, I dislike being addressed. I'm just not too crazy with the nickname.

... and it is another to not be able to pronounce it correctly. SIGH.

In the states, I would tell people that my name is pronounced ray-CHULL if they ever say ray SHELL or RAQUEL. it's close to being my pet peeve! And the common group of people that would pronounce my name that way are the FILIPINOS. And since I am currently staying in the Philippines for quite awhile... I'm letting it slide.

YUP. my new name around here is now RAY-SHELL.
I can easily adjust. no problemo. just don't call me RAQUEL.
