going to chapel, when I could have taken an absence and not come to school at all because my classes were cancelled. What can I say? I love chapel. I'm one of very very few people who actually likes to get up at 6 in the morning to get ready and start the day with chapel... well except wednesdays because I start the day with my 7:15 elementary piano class. how do i do it? sunshine:] and my super cool internal alarm clock.
I had me some Daneva bonding time.
"HAS IT REALLY BEEN 5 DAYS?!"
apparently the last time we really hung out was gyrad (gyfad). and that was last friday. well, the daneva bonding time actually began thursday since I had no classes today (friday). For the very first time we ate at the cookiemill/pasta bar. it was amazing and I shall eat there again sometime in the near future. and then this morning, we met up for chapel. then got some grub... well, i brought salad from home :] no meal plan = food from home.
spent some time in the practice rooms... on a beautiful friday afternoon... I know what you're thinking, "Rachel, why didn't you just go home and sleep or something? why are you still at school?" well, I disappointed my voice teacher on monday for not going over the music she gave me. I seriously don't practice enough. It's hard to not practice for more than an hour a day. It's even harder for a commuter such as myself. And so... I spent a good hour in the practice rooms. the smelly practice rooms. I almost cried because of the stench. lol
Ok, this guy who I consider to be an all-around kind of person because he leads gospel chapel and everyone knows who he is. And so I see him with two other guys and as I walk past him he says, "I like your bangs" and I look up at him (because he's practically over 6 feet tall haha) to make sure he was talking to me... and he was! then I replied with a joyous thank you... whoa he knows who I am? or at the very least, noticed what I looked like before? that so made my day.
up until now, I still love to drive. and today was pretty rare: I drove home from school in broad daylight! it was even better with Michael Buble in the car ;]
drove my brother to the chiropractor... I had a boba craving and the brother had a chipotle craving for the 2nd time this week. so we made a deal that I'd get my boba and he'd get his chipotle.
