Ryan Chin, if you're reading this...

hello! haha

Wow, this week was so unproductive. It's only because I was already on vacation mode since friday. Gotta get ready for the vocal jury I'll be having in 2 weeks! = o

I just got off the phone with one of my best friends who came back from Arizona and without even knowing it, I miss the good ol days. I was looking through my pictures in my cell phone and came across the pictures from our very last late start. and just yesterday I was looking through my youtube videos and saw the birthday video I made for her. (and noticed how different I was 4 months ago) I was already looking back. Looking back on the days when life was a little simpler. The days that I sometimes took for granted. back then I was looking ahead into college and now I'm looking back to high school.

EDIT--

This thanksgiving has given me a lot to be thankful for. So rather than the usual family dinner and chinese take out, we finally had some relatives coming over from Idaho and Florida. I was pretty excited and the food was amazing. For the first time in a very long time we had an american thanksgiving dinner! My great aunt from Florida is basically Martha Stewart (filipino version). She loves home decor and really knows how to cook... so practically all the dishes were made from scratch! We had the turkey, sweet potato, salad, broccoli casserole, gravy (no mashed potato unfortunately), cranberries, and best of all, apple and pumpkin pie with whip cream and a cherry on top :] What was missing from the table was the most crucial food item that filipinos (or asians in general) have to have: RICE. I mean, all the dishes didn't need rice to go with them.. well maybe the turkey, but i didn't eat my turkey with rice.

my aunt and my brother: "Where's the rice!?" LOL

I can never not eat rice. It would be impossible for me to give up because 1. practically all the filipino food needs to go with rice and 2. my whole family eats rice and I can't say no. I seriously wish rice was removed from my diet. I attempted and failed at having a no-rice diet. Oh well, I LOVE FOOD! :] what can you do?

Great food and a family gathering wasn't all that took place. There were tensions here and there. But God is good (all the time), and He's really blessed my mom. Despite what they've said about her, she still had a thankful heart. I was amazed. I was a little angry for her and yet she held nothing against her sister and aunt. This is why she's my hero. I really can't even begin to describe... it would be another blog post of its own.

SO TODAY! the celebration of thanksgiving continues! you know what that means: MORE FOOOOD! lol so Justine Sy has no water at her place and she told me earlier today when she came over to my house that she's not even going to take things like water for granted. haha. what timing. The things some people lack reminds you what to be thankful for. And God, thank You for water :] So hopefully she has water at her house by now or by tonight. It's ok, Justine, people can just walk to my house and use the restroom LOL

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, the 3 amigas are back ! so we're going watch New Moon. (finally) after stuffing our faces at Justine's we're gonna hit it at harkins! (hopefully) or maybe edwards in westco. TEAM EDWARD! ;D

ugh. I'm still full from the dim sum I had for lunch. and the leftover thanksgiving food I had this morning. and the popcorn I ate last night. and the dinner last night. wow, hello there freshman 15 -__-
