Unbelievable

so today, i did something comopletely out of the ordinary.
I did something that no one would expect of me
something out of character
daring
crazy

I auditioned for the spring musical, the sound of music
0_o i know right?!
well it's been awhile since i auditioned for a play
actually this would be my first to try out for a musical
i've done plays before and that was what? 3 years ago?
i had a bad experience with it because i have a small role where i had only like 5 lines and i would still stumble over them and blank out. i suck at acting. period.

so why have i done this you might ask?
well it's senior year
it's THE SOUND OF MUSIC. my favorite musical of all time. i've watched the cassettes like 39874 times because that's how much i love the darn movie. julie andrews is my singing idol. it's a shame she can't sing anymore.
but THE SOUND OF MUSIC!!:]
i was debating if i should audition or not after signing up on friday night (winter concert) in the drama room. completely spontaneous. and throughout the weekend i wondered if i made a mistake in writing my name on that sign up sheet. but i decided to just go for it. if i don't make it, oh well. and if i do... :DDDD yeah you get the picture. i really don't care who i'll be (for sure not any of the lead roles or one of the 7 children) as long as i'm part of it.

oh my GOODNESS. it may not be a big deal that i was on the list where i'm only called back for like 30 min. ... but it is to me! yay! like i said no matter what part i am, as long as i'm IN the play. some part of it. it really doesn't matter because it's a freaking honor that i get to do this. i don't even mind singing in the balcony/catwalk/pit! that's how big a deal it is to me! haha. imma good singer but not a really good actress. so she made me and like 10 other girls act the part for brigitta. and we were all about 5' to 5'2" haha im so short. i'm like 5'1 3/4" to be exact:] and most definitely don't appear to be 9 do you? i hope i'm casted as a nun and at the very least.. in the ensemble.
