I really like the songs!
I want to go every day!
Let’s do this every weekend!
Yeah, I’ll come tomorrow!

Today, I am just so happy.
For the first time ever, I invited my friend from school to join me for Touchpoint at Victory Fort. Not only was she willing to go but her heart was open to God. I have invited a few friends from my school but, of course, my invite would be turned down.

I seriously had the biggest smile on face… I mean, whenever someone tells me that they want to go to church and you can just tell that their heart is in it, my heart is just overflowing with joy. I almost want to jump up and down! It makes me that happy.

I knew I wouldn’t want to give up. Even if my invite was turned down tonight, I will still keep on keeping on.
This was her very first Christian service she ever attended. At first I was a little bit worried that it would be too much for her. I say this because this particular service is almost as if you’re in a rock concert. Everyone is just celebrating and jumping up and down, lifting up their hands and shouting praises. I’ve been inviting my school mate for some time already and God just opened her heart… she even told me it was meant to be!

God is just so AWESOME. I was moping this week asking myself, "how the heck I will lead someone to Christ?"… I haven’t really led a non-believer, it was usually those who have already accepted Christ or if they do attend, they’re just not that interested. But God made a way for me and answered my prayers. It may be only one person but one person makes all the difference. It won’t stop here, of course… this is only the beginning!

Before the service even ended, she told me, “let’s do this every weekend!”
She even wants to go tomorrow for the 6pm service!
the one thing that made me chuckle a bit was when she asked me during praise and worship, “do I have to raise my hand?” How would you answer that? I told her that if you feel the need to, you can! Everything about that service was really new to her. And I can’t wait for tomorrow!
God, you are ever so faithful… how could I ever question or even doubt your power?
Thank you for friends, Lord. Thank you so much for relationships that glorify YOU.
Now I know why I am here in the Philippines. I know why I should stay at this school… God has a special purpose and has called me here in this country, in this city, in this school… for me to live in this condo and to attend this church. Blessings are pouring…

Though a sorrow may last for a night, but His joy comes in the morning!
AMEN!

When I got home, I received a text from my friend saying:
“Be joyful always, pray continually for this is God’s will for you” –Thessalonians 5:16-18
^this was from tonight’s message for the last installment of this month’s series, Akology, a study of self in Christ. I even noticed she would write notes on her handout and saved that verse on her phone. I am just full of joy and I am so thankful for today.
