A Whole New World

it's official. I really want to go to the Philippines. After seeing what our church has done (it wasn't much considering that we are a small church, but I believe we accomplished beyond expectation): starting 2 churches in 2 different cities... and just seeing how much youth is over there. But what am I thinking, I'm needed here. Because now we're the smaller church.

God has put this desire in my heart to go to the Philippines and live there for awhile. I didn't want this months ago. I wanted to stay here and do what I want to do. Being in the Philippines means being away from friends, my home, and it's just a whole new world, a whole new beginning. a new life. Now, that doesn't mean I'm running away from my problems, no. at least that's not the main reason.

Lord, I'll be where you want me to be.

Rachel Jean!!!! GO TO THE PHILIPPINES!!! I will be praying that God will pave the way for you and your desires.

The camp I worked at was Redwood Christian Park. I wasn't a counselor either (I don't know if I could handle that!!), I just worked at the different recreational things there. It was so much fun!! Which camp did you work at??
