top of the morning to ya!

so my computer wouldn't open and I took that as a sign that I needed to read my one-year bible.
haha. very silly, i know but hey, you gotta read the word!
I read a chapter in the book of John where Judas betrays Jesus and has Him arrested. Jesus knew his fate. He knew Judas was going to betray Him, yet He didn't do what Peter tried to do. Well, of course, Jesus wouldn't cut off a soldier's ear but He didn't do anything to stop it or escape the arrest.

Many of us would go the distance to stop anything bad to happen to our loved ones. I believe a lot of us can identify with Peter; we're going to fight for our loved ones. Personally, I'd probably be one of the other disciples and just stand there in shock. for example, if someone was about to die of cancer or of something else, you and your family would want that person to live longer and keep that person in their lives right? Sometimes, like Jesus, that person knows it's time. they just know it's going to happen to them. In the end, eventually we're all going to have to face death.... but hopefully that will be a long ways away. and pray to God that person accepted Jesus Christ into his or her heart and a relationship is established.

Lord, there are many things in our lives that are completely out of our power. it's not our will but Yours. Please be with those going through a storm right now... whether it may be death or friends who aren't in touch. I just leave it in Your hands... Please restore those who are in pain, who are going through spiritual battles, who are empty, and those who are lost. Because You loved us, You died for us. Thank You God for eternal life so that we may receive it.
