oh well, at least it won't get dark too soon... that means more sunshine!
random fact about myself:
I still use my fingers to count. In music theory and practical musicianship, I do it a lot. When I have to find out how many sharps or flats a certain key has, I have to go through the whole process of
"Fat Cats Go Down Alleys Eating Bologna"
and for flats:
"BEAD Gum Candy Fruit"
And now that I learned about modals...
I Don't Freeze Le Mon Ade Long
Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian
Being a Music Major isn't an easy major I tell you. It's a lot of work and some music majors don't even have lives. But that doesn't apply to me because I'm a commuter which makes it harder for me to be on top of things such as getting some rehearsals and being a part of my school. I still have a life because I'm not always at school. I still get to go home every day. Being a commuter has its perks but I still wish I dormed. I'm making an effort to stay connected with the school and the friends I've made that live on campus but it doesn't seem enough. I still feel out of the loop sometimes and as if I'm not doing enough. I don't know. At least I'm used to being alone. I like solitude, it gives me peace of mind and some time to think and reflect, you know? I think it's needed.... especially when studying needs to be done.
alrighty... it's almost 12am

have a super sunday :]
