Sigh

I don't know if I should make a big deal out of it... but that's what blogging is for right?

It was just plain weird
and I just found out that you found out
a little birdie told me
that you did some investigating
and now I just don't know what to think

and so
things just got a wee tad complicated
this convinces and assures me
that things are what they're suppose to be

it's not a matter of choice
because if I had to choose
someone is going to get hurt
I would be drawing a line

my heart has already been stolen
and it wouldn't be fair
if things go any further

time is all I need
time to think
to think about what's really important
the importance of friendship

and I will keep reminding myself
that God is in control
my emotions will not get the best of me
my decisions will be final

just maybe
as time grows and separates us
somewhere down the road
our paths will cross--
our paths will collide
it will be a whole new adventure
