been so happy to see the sun shine
actually I'm always happy when I see the sun
weather seems to take a great deal for me
I get hives whenever the weather drastically changes from cold to hot.. which is around january. I don't know what else I could have been allergic to so I believe I'm allergic to the cold weather. thank God I only get hives in the morning.
So I had just learned that we have another study day this thursday! So I only have 3 school days this week! yes! something to look forward to.
Im running out of things to say so I'll just recap on my weekend
So as usual I go out to eat with my familia and this time, for the first time, we ate at coconut bay! I LOVE LOVE THAI FOOD. all time favorite is pad thai. and that day just so happened to be the slam dunk... and this restaurant had this giant screen for the projector to display. it was funny hearing people go OOOHHHH while eating. what really got me excited was the live band that played around 8. I almost wanted to go up there and sing with the drummer. haha almost.
sunday. boy was it a mistake to wear my black boots. it was like 80 degrees by the time service started! I really want to start wearing shorts/skirts now! the problem is... i don't shave... i wax my legs. my parents have always warned me to not shave because the hair gets thicker as it grows back. so i took their word for it when I was younger. so I gotta hit the salon sometime soon. hmmm maybe i'll go on study day. and while i'm at it, i'll get my nails did. sounds like a plan that i just thought of right now as i'm typing this. x]
i was excited to go home after dropping off daneva because i wanted to change into my date outfit. i went out with the best friend to watch Valentine's Day. I really really really really like that movie. it was cutesie and gave me butterflies :] I recommend watching it... just not by yourself lol at least watch it with a friend who you can complain about your singleness to. it really didn't get to me that i'm single and that i should go and find someone to love and be with... i normally feel that way whenever i see all these couples publicly displaying their affection. and it's usually not on valentine's day.
yesterday was a lot of driving. not that it was bad because i had some grocery shopping to do! my first filipino dish that i ever made by myself: chicken apritada. I'm sad that a guest we had yesterday didn't have the chance to try it :\ which was the main reason why i cooked! my dad bought take out so I guess it was ok.
and then right then and there, i left again to get chocolate to make something else (check my previous post).. yup! i did it! i successfully melted the semi-sweet chocolate... the white chocolate? FAIL. smoke was everywhere and i didn't even notice until my brother shouted it to me. did i get the wrong white chocolate? i guess the microwave was a mistake but when i tried boiling it on the stove, it came out all funky. eh, i'll try again next week.
