I know you mean well
but I might as well have a pig snout

they say that a mother knows best
but does she really have to constantly tell me I need to wear make up?
I mean, she basically told me I'm ugly
I felt like crying this morning because all she was talking about was my appearance
as if it wasn't bad enough that I don't have a dad telling me I'm beautiful

oh don't get me started

that was all I wanted to hear from her
You're beautiful just the way you are
but i didn't say a word

I need to be reminded daily about what beautiful really is
I keep thinking about physical appearance and that it's more than just pretty or cute
well, yes, it's more than just pretty...
but I forget that there is a person to get to know
who they are is what makes a person beautiful

so according to facebook, today is the day where you 'Tell Her She's Beautiful'

I think a girl needs to be told she's beautiful all the time
not just a given day
