Sometimes I like to think it's me
But when will I wake up from this dream
when in truth it was never about me all along
I get it wrong all the time
and there's always two sides
heart and mind
might be wrong
might be right
guarding my heart seems the best way to go
even if it hurts
I have to do the right thing
but my heart wants to go a different direction
a friend once told me to follow my heart
i dont think it applies here
