As I was sitting there throughout the whole movie, it made me think about where I'm at right now and what I'm going to do with my life. I mean, I know what I'm going to do in life... I just know it has something to do with music. I don't know exactly what. I have given some thought to travel and do performances with a musical group of some sort, but never in my wildest dreams had I ever thought of becoming a soloist, a singer, or even famous. Wouldn't it be cool though? I just don't know how I'll survive financially... do you get paid? It's pretty much THE biggest goal I'd like to accomplish one day. Travel the world and perform.
So go watch the movie FAME! I'm a big fan of musicals so I like most movie musicals. I have one thing to say about Asher Book: HOT.
Even when I saw the downside of reaching the American dream, it didn't discourage me to try. Ok, I'm not going to enroll myself in a hard-core music school. I think that's a little extreme for me because I'm having a hard time with my music classes at APU as it is. Well nothing too much for me to handle anyway. I still love it all. I just want to make it out there. I want to perform and be able to live and support myself.
Somehow. Someday. Some way. Somewhere.
God will give me the opportunity to live this dream.
