First Week

So if you haven't noticed on facebook, twitter, or even youtube, I love it at APU. I haven't even reached the point where I have a heavy course load! It's been late night fun (no partying) and music music music. Choir camp and a week and 2 days of orientation contributed to the late night fun and other activities throughout the day. In my sociology class, my professor asked each and every one of us to say our goal for this semester. When it was my turn, I simply stated "time management," because I know that will be a huge issue for me and I had a hard time with it throughout high school. So big time, time management.

God is so amazing. I can't believe I'm even here at this very school and I feel so blessed. I think I want to burst into song like high school musical. haha. I praise the Lord for the friends I've made, what I'm able to accomplish so far, and music music music! I love how 80% of my classes are music related. Now I don't have an excuse to not have time to practice playing the piano. I really just love it here... the atmosphere, and just the fact that it's not high school anymore. People here are totally different from the people back home. I like change and I think I'm taking this change pretty well. I wanted this. There were a few friends from my high school and junior high that are here, so sometimes I feel like I'm in Walnut again. But I like it.

Worship is amazing. I feel like I'm at a concert that I never went to. Call me crazy but I like going to chapel 3 times a week. haha. I can never get enough of singing for the Lord. Especially when everyone feels the same way. There are other people with a common denominator.

Well I want to try to blog about my life here at APU as much as I can before I get too busy. Actually this might be one of the last until November or December. I don't know.

adios
