and Robertson and I ate at chipotle for lunch. yummy. Robertson drove and i must say he's a good driver. "I can only turn left when I park"
me: "I can't even park at all!"
yeah i'm not a good driver even when i practice in an empty parking lot - -x my dad wants me to stay within the lines when i park. so when i park too much to the left or right, he makes me do it again. EEK. asian driver! so 30 minutes later, amy came over! we scootered our butts to the walnut public library and borrowed a dvd.. the family stone. it was a good movie. not much of a chick flick but it was a great christmas movie.
I felt pretty bad that i didn't give out enough gifts or goodies to a lot of people. I guess giving is really better than receiving. and i received more than I gave... well i received a lot of candy canes/goodies from people I never really expected to get from. I feel special. but man did i see a lot of wrapped gifts go around. i even saw one that was bigger than me! it's amazing how much someone will be willing to spend or to go out of their way to get the gift and wrap it, to really set aside time to get a gift! the thing is i could never find the time to go out and shop for gifts! i know it's a lame excuse but sometimes i don't have the energy or my parents are too tired to take me out to go shopping. or my parents are busy to take me to the mall. eh, just wait til I drive. I really should've just brought the leftover candy I had from making my last-minute gifts for my friends* wink wink;] HAHA robertson, did you open your gift? lol you already knew what it was after just handing it to you!
okie dokies
remember, Jesus is the reason for the season. it wouldn't be CHRISTmas without Christ would it? that's right. it's not about the presents under the tree or the big guy in the red suit, it's a very special Someone's birthday! without Him, I am nothing. without Him, there's no living.
praise the Lord for december and the spirit of christmas
